Allis-Chalmers Farm Tractor Was First Fuel Cell Vehicle
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008Seven years before the GM Electrovan came along, the Allis-Chalmers farm tractor was rigged with 1,008 alkaline fuel cells providing 15 kw of energy or enough to help the vehicle haul 3,000 lbs.
